PWP1 Activators

PWP1 (Peptidylprolyl Isomerase Domain and WD Repeat Containing 1) is a multifunctional protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including ribosome biogenesis, cell cycle regulation, and the maintenance of chromatin structure. It belongs to a family of proteins known for their peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) activity, which facilitates protein folding and conformational changes essential for proper cellular function. Moreover, PWP1 contains WD repeats, which are implicated in protein-protein interactions, enabling it to act as a scaffold in the assembly of protein complexes.
