    SEE ALSO...

PTPN13LY Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PTPN13LY protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PTPN13LY antibody (H-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PTPN13LY protein, also known as PRY, PTPN13LY2, or PRY2, is a 147 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the testis, where PTPN13LY may function similarly to other protein tyrosine phosphatases. PTPN13LY localization in the testis suggests a specialized role in male reproductive biology and development. PTPN13LY is encoded by a gene located on the Y chromosome, which is essential for male sex determination and development. The Y chromosome contains approximately 58 million base pairs and houses over 80 genes, many of which are critical for proper sexual development. Deletions or defects in Y chromosome-encoded genes can severely impact masculine development and function, highlighting PTPN13LY′s importance in maintaining male reproductive health.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-373748 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
