    SEE ALSO...

PRDM11 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRDM11 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRDM11 (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRDM11, also known as PFM8, is a 511 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in gene regulation and is part of the PR domain-containing protein family. This family is known for its involvement in modulating gene activities, particularly in the context of cancer. PRDM11 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, which produce PR-plus and PR-minus products that differ by the presence or absence of the PR domain. The PR-plus isoform is typically underexpressed or disrupted in cancer cells, while the PR-minus isoform is often overexpressed, leading to an imbalance that can be a significant factor in malignancy. The gene encoding PRDM11 is located on chromosome 11p11.2, within a region associated with liver tumor suppression, highlighting its potential importance in cancer biology and therapeutic research.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398876 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
