PR Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect both PR-A and PR-B isoforms of the human progesterone receptor, as well as those from mouse and rat, with exceptional accuracy in applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-progesterone receptor antibody (A-2) is meticulously raised against a specific epitope mapping between amino acids 538-571 within an internal region of the human progesterone receptor, ensuring precise binding and reliable detection. The progesterone receptor is a critical nuclear hormone receptor that mediates the diverse effects of progesterone, a key hormone involved in regulating reproductive processes, including the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and embryogenesis.
