PP2A-B56-γ Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects PP2A-B56-γ in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PP2A-B56-γ is a regulatory subunit of the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) complex, which plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by dephosphorylating serine and threonine residues on target proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes including cell growth, division, and apoptosis. PP2A-B56-γ modulates PP2A holoenzyme activity through a trimeric complex composed of regulatory, variable, and catalytic subunits. PP2A-B56-γ interaction with different catalytic subunits allows fine-tuning of phosphatase activity, making PP2A-B56-γ essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals. PP2A-B56-γ interacts with various proteins involved in cell cycle regulation and signal transduction, highlighting PP2A-B56-γ significance in cancer biology and therapeutic targeting.
