    SEE ALSO...

POPX2 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects POPX2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). POPX2 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. POPX2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by acting as a serine/threonine phosphatase, which is essential for the regulation of numerous cellular functions such as cell division, homeostasis, and apoptosis. As a member of the PP2C family of phosphatases, POPX2 is involved in the negative regulation of cell stress response pathways, thereby maintaining cellular integrity under stress conditions. POPX2 shows ubiquitous expression, allowing participation in various signaling pathways across different tissues. Notably, POPX2 interacts with PIX proteins, which are critical for modulating the activity of αPAK, a protein kinase that influences actin dynamics and cellular morphology. Additionally, POPX2 regulates the activity of CaMKII, further underscoring POPX2′s importance in calcium signaling and neuronal function. Dysregulation of POPX2 expression can lead to significant cellular consequences, including caspase-dependent apoptosis, highlighting POPX2′s potential role in various pathological conditions.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with POPX2 (E-2): sc-514894?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
