SEE ALSO...

Pol I/II/III RPB8 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Pol I/II/III RPB8 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Pol I/II/III RPB8 antibody (B-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pol I/II/III RPB8 plays a crucial role in transcription as a shared subunit among three distinct classes of RNA polymerases in eukaryotic cells—RNA polymerase I, II, and III. These polymerases are responsible for synthesizing different types of RNA, with Pol I transcribing ribosomal RNA, Pol II synthesizing messenger RNA and small nuclear RNA, and Pol III producing transfer RNA and 5S ribosomal RNA. RPB8 subunit is vital for polymerase assembly and function, contributing to structural integrity and stability of transcription machinery. Understanding RPB8 interactions and functions is essential for elucidating gene expression regulation complexities and implications in various biological processes and diseases.
