PLSCR1 Antibody (1E9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the PLSCR1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-PLSCR1 antibody (1E9) is available as a non-conjugated format. PLSCR1 protein, also known as phospholipid scramblase 1, plays a crucial role in the transbilayer movement of phosphatidylserine and other membrane phospholipids, particularly in response to calcium influx into the cytosol. This function is vital for plasma membrane remodeling, especially during cellular events such as apoptosis, where the exposure of phosphatidylserine on the cell surface serves as an "eat me" signal for phagocytes, facilitating the clearance of dying cells.
