PLSCR1 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PLSCR1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-PLSCR1 antibody (H-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The calcium-dependent plasma membrane protein phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) plays a crucial role in the transbilayer movement of phosphatidylserine and other membrane phospholipids, particularly during cellular events such as apoptosis and cell injury. This translocation is vital as it leads to the exposure of phosphatidylserine on the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane, a key signal for macrophage recognition and clearance of dying cells. Additionally, PLSCR1 is involved in cytokine signaling pathways, as PLSCR1 expression is induced by interferons and other cytokines. Notably, epidermal growth factor stimulation results in the tyrosine phosphorylation of PLSCR1 at specific residues, enabling PLSCR1 interaction with Shc, which links Src kinase activation to the stimulation of the epidermal growth factor receptor.
