PLC δ3 Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PLC delta 3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PLC δ3 (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PLC delta 3 protein is a member of the phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C family, which is crucial for initiating receptor-mediated signal transduction by generating the second messengers inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG) from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This process is vital for various cellular functions, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. PLC δ3, along with its isoforms, contains several functional domains that facilitate calcium binding, which is essential for enzymatic activity. PLC delta 3 is predominantly expressed in the brain, heart, and other tissues, indicating a significant role in cardiovascular and neurological functions.
