SEE ALSO...

PEPCK-C Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to target Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase-C (PEPCK-C), also known as PCK1. PEPCK-C monoclonal antibody (F-11) is raised against an epitope spanning amino acids 189-221 within an internal region of human PEPCK-C, ensuring precise recognition and detection in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PEPCK-C is a crucial enzyme in the gluconeogenesis pathway, responsible for the synthesis of glucose from non-carbohydrate sources in liver cells, thereby maintaining blood glucose levels during fasting and metabolic stress. Structurally, PEPCK-C interacts with several key proteins, including the transcription factor FOXO1 and the coactivator PGC-1α, which regulate its expression in response to hormonal signals like insulin and glucagon. These interactions are essential for the dynamic control of glucose production and metabolic homeostasis. Dysregulation of PEPCK-C and its interacting partners is closely associated with metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes and obesity, highlighting its significance as a therapeutic target. PEPCK-C (F-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants, providing flexibility for diverse experimental needs. By enabling the precise detection and study of PEPCK-C and its interactions with other proteins, PEPCK-C (F-11) monoclonal antibody supports advanced research into the molecular mechanisms of glucose metabolism and the development of potential treatments for insulin resistance and related metabolic conditions.
