    SEE ALSO...

PDE11A Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PDE11A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PDE11A antibody (B-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PDE11A, also known as phosphodiesterase 11A or PPNAD2, is a crucial enzyme that plays a significant role in regulating cyclic nucleotide signaling by hydrolyzing cAMP and cGMP into their inactive forms, 5′-AMP and 5′-GMP, respectively. This enzymatic activity maintains cellular homeostasis and modulates various physiological processes, including hormone signaling and neuronal communication. PDE11A is expressed in multiple tissues and exists in four isoforms, each exhibiting distinct tissue specificity, which underscores its importance in diverse biological contexts. PDE11A contains two GAF domains that facilitate catalytic function and is regulated by free cGMP binding, which acts as an allosteric activator, enhancing enzymatic activity. Dysregulation or defects in PDE11A can lead to primary pigmented nodular adrenocortical disease type 2 (PPNAD2), a condition associated with endocrine-related Cushing syndrome, highlighting clinical relevance in endocrine disorders.
