PCLAF Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect PCLAF, also known as p15 (PAF), KIAA0101, PAF15, and PCNA-associated factor of 15 kDa. PCLAF monoclonal antibody (G-11) targets a precise epitope spanning amino acids 58-78 of mouse PCLAF, ensuring accurate and reliable detection in various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) across mouse, rat, and human samples. PCLAF is composed of 111 amino acids and possesses a well-defined structure crucial for interaction with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), a key player in DNA replication and repair processes. This structural configuration allows PCLAF to effectively bind PCNA, thereby playing a vital role in protecting cells from UV-induced apoptosis by facilitating DNA damage tolerance mechanisms. Additionally, PCLAF′s structural integrity enables interaction with tumor suppressor proteins such as ING1, which influences apoptotic pathways and cell cycle regulation. PCLAF′s importance is further highlighted by elevated expression in various cancers, including esophageal and pancreatic tumors, where anti-PCLAF antibody (G-11) can help investigate contributions to tumor progression through cell survival and proliferation modulation. PCLAF (G-11) antibody serves as an essential tool for studies focused on cell cycle regulation and tumorigenesis.
