PBK Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PBK in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PBK antibody (A-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PBK, also known as human PDZ-binding kinase, is a serine/threonine kinase consisting of 322 amino acids and features a T/SXV motif that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. PBK is predominantly expressed in the placenta and notably absent in adult brain tissue, highlighting specific functional relevance in reproductive biology. PBK regulates cell cycle and cellular proliferation through interactions with PDZ domain-containing proteins, such as tumor suppressor protein Dlg, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis.
