SEE ALSO...

Pax Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Pax protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Pax (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pax protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during embryonic development, influencing the differentiation of various cell types in a spatial and temporal manner. This regulation is vital for proper organ formation and tissue patterning, and disruptions in Pax protein function can lead to developmental disorders and contribute to the pathogenesis of various cancers. The Pax gene family, which consists of nine members, is characterized by paired domains that exhibit significant homology to Drosophila genes involved in early developmental programming. Understanding the function and interactions of Pax proteins is essential for elucidating their roles in both normal development and disease states, making anti-Pax antibody (D-7) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.

How can Pax (D-7): sc-514352 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to HRP (sc-514352 HRP), phycoerythrin (sc-514352 PE), fluoroscein (sc-514352 FITC) and AlexaFluors.
