SEE ALSO...

PAR-2 Antibody (SAM11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect Proteinase-Activated Receptor 2 (PAR-2), also known as F2RL1 or PAR2, across mouse, rat, and human species using applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). PAR-2 monoclonal antibody (SAM11) targets an epitope mapped within amino acids 37-50 of the human PAR-2 protein, enabling precise identification and analysis of PAR-2 in various experimental settings. PAR-2 functions as a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a pivotal role in mediating inflammatory responses and pain perception by interacting with extracellular proteases like trypsin, which cleave and activate the receptor. Located on the cell surface, PAR-2 facilitates critical signal transduction pathways that regulate cellular responses to environmental stimuli, making its cellular localization essential for its role in physiological and pathological processes. Structurally, PAR-2 is characterized by its seven transmembrane domains, a feature that is crucial for its interaction with G proteins and subsequent intracellular signaling cascades. Understanding the structure of PAR-2 is vital for elucidating its mechanism of action and for the development of targeted therapeutics. PAR-2 monoclonal antibody (SAM11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants, providing versatile options for diverse research applications. PAR-2 monoclonal antibody (SAM11) is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the molecular mechanisms of PAR-2-mediated cellular functions and its implications in diseases such as inflammation, making a critical component in advancing biomedical research.

I would like to use the PAR-2 Antibody (SAM11): sc-13504 to double stain my tissue samples with another mouse monoclonal primary antibody. Is this possible?

Asked by: Trav11
Yes, this is definitely possible. In this case, we recommend using our directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibodies. Currently, the PAR-2 Antibody (SAM11): sc-13504 is available conjugated to HRP (sc-13504 HRP), phycoerythrin (sc-13504 PE), fluoroscein (sc-13504 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-13504 AF488), Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-13504 AF647), or Alexa Fluor® 405 (sc-13504 AF405, 100 µg/2 ml).
