SEE ALSO...

pan 14-3-3 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects pan 14-3-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). pan 14-3-3 monoclonal antibody (H-8) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, providing versatility for various experimental needs. The 14-3-3 protein family plays a crucial role in regulating numerous cellular processes, particularly those related to cancer biology, such as apoptosis, mitogenic signaling, and cell-cycle checkpoints. This family consists of seven isoforms, including 14-3-3 β, γ, ε, ζ, η, θ, and σ, which form dimers that create two binding sites for ligand proteins, facilitating interactions that might not occur otherwise. 14-3-3 proteins are involved in the regulation of their ligand proteins through mechanisms such as cytoplasmic sequestration, modulation of interaction domains, and prevention of degradation. These proteins are known to interact with various target proteins, including kinases and phosphatases, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and signaling pathways. The ability of 14-3-3 proteins to bind to phosphorylated serine/threonine residues underscores their significance in cellular signaling, as alterations in their expression or function can lead to a wide range of pathological conditions, including cancer.

What secondary reagent should I use to detect pan 14-3-3 Antibody (H-8) via Western blot in human samples?

Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent, such as m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102, for Western blot. A complete list of all available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
