p54/nrb Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects p54/nrb of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p54/nrb (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p54/nrb, also known as NONO, plays a crucial role in the formation and function of paraspeckles, which are nuclear bodies involved in the regulation of gene expression and RNA processing. These structures are essential for the storage and processing of non-coding RNAs and are implicated in the cellular response to stress. The dynamic localization of p54/nrb between the nucleolus and paraspeckles highlights p54/nrb′s importance in maintaining RNA homeostasis and regulating splicing pathways. Additionally, p54/nrb contains two RNA recognition motifs and shares significant homology with the human splicing factor PSF, suggesting a conserved role in pre-mRNA splicing regulation.
