    SEE ALSO...

P2X5 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects P2X5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-P2X5 antibody (H-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. P2X5 is a member of the P2X receptor family, which consists of ligand-gated ion channels that facilitate calcium ion influx in response to extracellular ATP. P2X5 receptors play a crucial role in mediating synaptic transmission and are expressed in diverse tissues such as neurons, prostate, bladder, pancreas, colon, testis, and ovary. P2X5 is involved in forming both homomeric and heteromeric channels, which are essential for various physiological processes. P2X5′s structure, characterized by intracellular amino- and carboxy-termini, influences receptor response to ATP and calcium permeability regulation. P2X5 dysregulation has been implicated in pathological conditions, including necrosis and apoptosis, highlighting P2X5′s importance in cellular signaling and health.
