p-NFκB p50 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects p-NFκB p50 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p-NFκB p50 antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p-NFκB p50 plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression as a component of the NFκB transcription factor complex, which is essential for mediating immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. The NFκB complex is typically sequestered in the cytoplasm in an inactive form bound to inhibitors, but upon stimulation by various signals, such as cytokines or growth factors, NFκB translocates to the nucleus where NFκB binds to specific DNA sequences to activate transcription of target genes. The p50 subunit is generated from the processing of the p105 precursor protein, and phosphorylation at serine 337 is a key regulatory mechanism that influences transcriptional activity and interaction with other proteins in the NFκB pathway. Understanding the dynamics of p-NFκB p50 and post-translational modifications is vital for elucidating its role in various pathological conditions, including cancer and autoimmune diseases, making p-NFκB p50 (A-8) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
