p-NFATc3 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ser 172 phosphorylated NFATc3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p-NFATc3 (A-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NFATc3, a member of the NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells) family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression in response to calcium signaling, particularly in immune cells. NFATc3 is primarily located in the cytosol and nucleus, where NFATc3 undergoes a significant conformational change upon dephosphorylation by calcineurin, allowing nuclear translocation and activation of cytokine gene transcription. This translocation is vital for T cell activation and differentiation, making NFATc3 an essential player in the immune response. NFAT proteins form complexes with other transcription factors, such as AP-1, further underscoring NFATc3′s importance in fine-tuning immune responses and maintaining cellular homeostasis.
