SEE ALSO...

p-Ezrin Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Tyr 146 phosphorylated Ezrin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p-Ezrin (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ezrin, a key microvillar core protein, plays a crucial role in linking the plasma membrane to the actin cytoskeleton, which is essential for maintaining cell shape and facilitating cell adhesion. Phosphorylation of Ezrin at Tyr 146 is particularly significant as this site is located within a conserved region shared by the Protein 4.1-Talin-Ezrin family, which includes Radixin and Moesin. This phosphorylation event is critical for Ezrin activation, influencing cellular morphology and adhesion properties, especially in response to extracellular signals like epidermal growth factor. Understanding Ezrin phosphorylation dynamics can provide insights into cellular processes such as migration, proliferation, and tissue architecture maintenance, making anti-p-Ezrin antibody (G-7) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these fundamental biological mechanisms.
