    SEE ALSO...

NTN Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NTN protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NTN (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Neurturin (NTN) plays a crucial role in neuronal health as a member of the glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) family, which is essential for the survival and maintenance of both central and peripheral neurons. NTN exerts effects by binding to specific receptors, namely GDNFRa and RETL2, which are linked to the cell membrane via glycosyl-phosphoinositol. These receptors lack transmembrane domains, and activation leads to the stimulation of tyrosine kinase Ret, which is pivotal for downstream signaling pathways. NTN′s ability to activate MAP kinase and phosphoinositide 3-kinase pathways highlights a significant role in promoting neuronal survival and influencing the development of various neuronal populations. Anti-NTN antibody (D-10) in multiple formats serves as a versatile tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of neurotrophic factors and their impact on neuronal health.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393626 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
