    SEE ALSO...

NPWBP Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NPWBP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-NPWBP antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NPWBP protein, also known as Npw38-binding protein, WW domain-binding protein 11, and SH3 domain-binding protein SNP70, consists of 641 amino acids and features two proline-rich regions that interact with the WW domain of PQBP-1, a transcription repressor linked to polyglutamine tract-containing transcription regulators. NPWBP protein is highly expressed in the kidney, pancreas, brain, placenta, heart, and skeletal muscle, predominantly residing in the nucleus with a granular heterogeneous distribution. During mitosis, NPWBP protein translocates to the cytoplasm. Nuclear localization of NPWBP protein is significant as NPWBP co-localizes with essential mRNA splicing factors, SC35 and U2 snRNP B, indicating a crucial role in pre-mRNA processing, which is vital for gene expression regulation and functional protein production.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393556 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
