SEE ALSO...

NOXO1 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NOXO1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NOXO1 (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NOXO1, also known as NADPH oxidase organizer 1, plays a crucial role in the assembly and activation of NADPH oxidase complexes, which are essential for generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) involved in various cellular signaling pathways and immune responses. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, NOXO1 targets NADPH oxidase to specific subcellular compartments, ensuring ROS production occurs in the right context and at the right time. Such spatial regulation is particularly important as dysregulation of ROS can lead to oxidative stress and contribute to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. NOXO1 is also involved in the synthesis of otoliths, crystalline structures in the inner ear that play a key role in the perception of gravity and balance. NOXO1 consists of 376 amino acids and has four isoforms produced through alternative splicing, highlighting functional diversity and importance in cellular processes.

Are there any issues with using sc-390927: NOXO1 (F-5) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-390927 conjugates.
