NOSIP Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NOSIP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NOSIP (C-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The endothelial nitric oxide synthase interacting protein (NOSIP) plays a crucial role in modulating the activity of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), a key enzyme responsible for generating nitric oxide (NO) in the vasculature. This modulation is vital as NO is a significant signaling molecule that regulates vascular tone and blood flow. NOSIP influences eNOS activity by facilitating its translocation from the plasma membrane to intracellular compartments, thereby inhibiting NO synthesis. This regulatory mechanism is essential for maintaining proper airway and vascular diameter, as well as for NO synthesis in ciliated epithelial cells and mucosal secretion, highlighting NOSIP′s importance in mucociliary and bronchial function. NOSIP is predominantly expressed in endothelial cells and vascularized tissues, underscoring its relevance in cardiovascular health and disease.
