NOD9 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NOD9 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NOD9 (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NOD9, also known as NLRX1, NOD26, or NOD5, is a 975 amino acid outer mitochondrial membrane protein characterized by the presence of one NACHT domain and four leucine-rich repeats (LRRs). These LRRs, which consist of 20-30 amino acid motifs, form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold that is crucial for protein-protein interactions, allowing NOD9 to effectively engage with various signaling molecules. NOD9 is predominantly expressed in heart, muscle, and mammary gland tissues, where NOD9 plays a vital role in antiviral signaling by inhibiting virus-induced helicases, thus serving as a negative regulator of antiviral responses. Notably, NOD9 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in immune responses.

I need to use an antibody to detect the protein in samples of monkey origin. Do you know if sc-374514: NOD9 (F-2) mouse monoclonal antibody will work?
