Datasheets
  • NHE-1 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 42-61 near the N-terminus of NHE-1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of NHE-1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for NHE-1 Antibody (C-7) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with NHE-1 Antibody (C-7) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

NHE-1 (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody. Na+/H+ exchangers-1-6 (Na+/H+ antiporters, NHE-1-6) are integral membrane proteins expressed in most mammalian tissues, where these proteins regulate intracellular pH and cell volume. NHEs mediate the secondary active extrusion of hydrogen (H+) ions out of cells in exchange for extracellular sodium (Na+). NHE-1 shows ubiquitous expression, while NHE-2-6 isoforms have distinct tissue- and cell type-dependent expression and inhibitory characteristics by amiloride analogs. Human NHE-1, also known as solute carrier family 9 isoform-1 (SLC9A1), is a ten transmembrane domain-spanning receptor containing an N-terminal amphiphatic domain and two putative N-glycosylation sites.
