Neu Antibody (24D2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Neu in human samples through flow cytometry (FCM). Neu, also known as ErbB-2 or HER2, is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) family, which plays a critical role in cell signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, survival, and differentiation. Anti-Neu antibody (24D2) recognizes protein complexes formed with other EGFR family members, such as ErbB-3, which enhances signaling capabilities and leads to activation of downstream pathways, including the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathway.
