NDRG2 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NDRG2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-NDRG2 antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NDRG2, also known as SYLD, is a 371 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in neuronal differentiation and outgrowth, localizing primarily in the cytoplasm and perinuclear region of neurons. NDRG2 is highly expressed in tissues such as the heart, brain, dendritic cells, salivary glands, and skeletal muscle, while exhibiting lower expression levels in the liver and kidney. NDRG2 has been implicated in tumor suppression, as expression is downregulated in various carcinomas, including liver and pancreatic cancers, as well as meningioma. NDRG2 is associated with the pathology of Alzheimer′s disease, being present in brain lesions of affected patients, which suggests potential involvement in disease progression.
