NAT-10 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NAT-10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NAT-10 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NAT-10, also known as N-acetyltransferase 10, is a crucial nuclear protein that belongs to the UPF0202 family and features a single N-acetyltransferase domain, which is believed to function as a histone acetyltransferase. NAT-10 plays a key role in regulating telomerase activity, particularly in response to DNA damage, where NAT-10 is upregulated to facilitate genotoxic resistance and DNA repair processes. NAT-10 has a high affinity for the promoter region of the TERT gene, which encodes the telomerase reverse transcriptase, thereby stimulating telomerase production. This multifaceted role suggests that human telomerase complexes are not limited to specific functions but rather engage in a variety of critical cellular processes, highlighting NAT-10′s importance in maintaining genomic stability and cellular longevity.
