Nanog Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect Nanog from mouse, rat, and human origins through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Nanog monoclonal antibody (H-2) is raised against amino acids 151-305 at the C-terminus of human Nanog, ensuring precise recognition and binding to the targeted epitope. Nanog, also called Nanog homeobox, is a critical homeodomain-containing transcription factor that plays an essential role in maintaining pluripotency and self-renewal of embryonic stem cells, thereby preventing differentiation. Structurally, Nanog comprises a conserved homeodomain that facilitates specific DNA binding, as well as regions that enable interactions with other key proteins involved in the pluripotency network, such as Oct4 and Sox2. These interactions are vital for forming transcriptional complexes that regulate the expression of genes necessary for sustaining the undifferentiated state of stem cells. Additionally, Nanog interacts with proteins like KLF4 and TBX3, which further contribute to the regulation of stem cell maintenance and inhibition of differentiation pathways. The ability of Nanog to form complexes with these proteins underscores a pivotal role in orchestrating gene expression programs that maintain cellular pluripotency and drive self-renewal. By targeting these interaction domains, anti-Nanog antibody (H-2) allows researchers to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which Nanog collaborates with binding partners to control stem cell fate decisions. I need to use an antibody to detect the protein in samples of monkey origin. Do you know if sc-374103: Nanog (H-2) mouse monoclonal antibody will work?
