    SEE ALSO...

N-RAP Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects N-RAP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). N-RAP (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. N-RAP, or nebulin-related anchoring protein, is a crucial component in muscle tissue, consisting of 1,730 amino acids and playing a significant role in myofibril assembly and force transmission in cardiomyocytes. N-RAP is specifically localized to the intercalated disks of cardiac muscle and the myotendinous junctions of skeletal muscle, where N-RAP is exclusively expressed. N-RAP structure includes one N-terminal LIM domain and forty-four nebulin repeats, which are essential for N-RAP function in maintaining the integrity and organization of the sarcomere. N-RAP interacts with several key proteins during myofibril assembly, including α-actinin, Filamin 2, Actin, KBTBD10, Talin-1, and vinculin, highlighting N-RAP importance in muscle development and function. The gene encoding N-RAP is located on human chromosome 10q25.3 and mouse chromosome 19 D2, underscoring N-RAP evolutionary conservation across species.
