MuRF1 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects MuRF1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MuRF1, or muscle-specific RING finger protein 1, plays a crucial role in muscle atrophy by regulating the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, which is essential for protein degradation in skeletal muscle. MuRF1 (D-5) antibody targets proteins primarily located in the sarcomere, the fundamental unit of muscle contraction, where MuRF1 is involved in the turnover of muscle proteins during atrophy. MuRF1′s localization in the sarcomere is significant because this positioning allows for targeted degradation of specific muscle proteins, thereby facilitating the remodeling of muscle tissue in response to stress or injury. Furthermore, MuRF1′s interaction with various signaling pathways, including the IKKbeta/NF-kappaB pathway, underscores MuRF1′s importance in muscle health and disease, making anti-MuRF1 antibody (D-5) a valuable tool for therapeutic interventions aimed at combating muscle wasting conditions. MuRF1 (D-5) monoclonal antibody serves as an essential tool for researchers studying muscle biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying muscle atrophy and hypertrophy.
