Mucin 2 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Mucin 2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Mucin 2 antibody (F-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mucin 2, also known as oligomeric mucus/gel-forming mucin, plays a crucial role in forming protective mucus layers in the intestines and airways, which is essential for maintaining epithelial integrity and facilitating the clearance of pathogens and debris.
