SEE ALSO...

mSin3B Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects mSin3B of mouse, rat, and human origin through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). mSin3B (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. mSin3B plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression, particularly in cell proliferation and differentiation, by functioning as a corepressor in transcriptional regulation. mSin3B belongs to a larger family of proteins that interact with transcription factors such as Myc and Mad proteins, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. mSin3B interaction with these transcription factors helps modulate the expression of genes involved in critical cellular processes, including growth and apoptosis. mSin3B interacts with Mad proteins through paired amphipathic helix domains, facilitating recruitment of additional corepressors to target genes, thereby influencing transcriptional repression. This regulatory mechanism underscores mSin3B importance in maintaining balance between cell proliferation and differentiation, making mSin3B a significant player in cellular signaling pathways.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-13145 X be used instead of the standard form sc-13145?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
