SEE ALSO...

MMP-13 Antibody (MM0019-12E10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody engineered to detect matrix metalloproteinase-13 (MMP-13), also known as collagenase-3, with exceptional accuracy in western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry applications. Raised against recombinant human MMP-13, MMP-13 antibody (MM0019-12E10) exclusively recognizes MMP-13 from human sources, ensuring no cross-reactivity with other members of the matrix metalloproteinase family, which guarantees precise and reliable results for your research. MMP-13 is a crucial enzyme located in the extracellular matrix, where MMP-13 plays a vital role in the degradation of collagen types I, II, and III, facilitating essential processes such as fetal bone development and adult bone remodeling. Beyond physiological functions, MMP-13 is significantly involved in pathological conditions like cancer metastasis and osteoarthritis, where MMP-13 contributes to the breakdown of extracellular matrix components, promoting tumor invasion and joint degradation. Understanding the expression and regulation of MMP-13 is essential for developing targeted therapies aimed at mitigating these diseases. By enabling accurate detection and localization of MMP-13, anti-MMP-13 antibody (MM0019-12E10) supports advanced studies into the mechanisms of tissue remodeling and the pathological progression of various conditions. Available in a non-conjugated form, MMP-13 monoclonal antibody (MM0019-12E10) provides versatility for conjugation with different labels to suit specific experimental requirements.
