SEE ALSO...

MLK2 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MLK2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MLK2 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MLK2, a member of the mixed lineage kinase family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in apoptosis and stress response. MLK2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and mediates interactions between small GTPases such as Rac1 and Cdc42, and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways, which are essential for regulating cell survival and death. MLK2′s cytoplasmic localization enables rapid response to cellular stress signals, facilitating the activation of downstream effectors that can lead to either cell survival or apoptosis. MLK2 contains a Src homology 3 (SH3) domain, which is critical for protein-protein interactions, further underscoring MLK2′s role in complex signaling networks. Understanding MLK2′s function and localization is vital for elucidating contributions to various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression and neurodegenerative diseases.
