SEE ALSO...

Mina53 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Mina53 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Mina53 antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mina53 protein, also known as MINA (MYC induced nuclear antigen), MDIG, or NO52, is a 465 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a JmjC domain and is primarily localized in the nucleus. This localization positions Mina53 at the center of ribosome biogenesis, where Mina53 plays a significant role in the assembly of pre-ribosomal particles. By facilitating ribosome assembly, Mina53 is essential for cell growth, survival, and overall cellular proliferation, making Mina53 a key player in maintaining normal cellular functions. Notably, Mina53 expression is upregulated in various cancers, including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, colon cancer, and lung cancer, indicating Mina53′s potential involvement in tumorigenesis. Additionally, multiple isoforms of Mina53 exist due to alternative splicing events, adding complexity to Mina53′s functional roles in cellular processes.
