Mfn1 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Mfn1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Mfn1 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mitofusin 1 (Mfn1) plays a crucial role in mitochondrial dynamics, specifically in mitochondrial fusion, which is essential for maintaining mitochondrial function and cellular energy metabolism. Mfn1 localizes to the outer mitochondrial membrane and forms high molecular weight protein complexes that facilitate mitochondrial fusion, a process vital for cellular health and stress adaptation.
