Melan-A Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 light chain antibody that detects Melan-A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Melan-A, also known as MART-1, is a crucial melanocyte differentiation antigen predominantly expressed in melanomas, melanocyte cell lines, and retinal tissues. Anti-Melan-A antibody (B-10) recognizes Melan-A peptides presented on the surface of tumor cells, which are targeted by HLA-A2-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This interaction is vital for developing effective cancer immunotherapies, as Melan-A has been shown to elicit strong immune responses in melanoma patients.
