SEE ALSO...

MEF-2A Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MEF-2A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MEF-2A antibody (B-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The myocyte enhancer factor-2 (MEF-2) family of transcription factors plays a crucial role in regulating the development and function of T cells, neuronal cells, and muscle cells, with four family members—MEF-2A, -2B, -2C, and -2D—arising from alternatively spliced transcripts. These proteins bind as homo- and heterodimers to the MEF-2 site in promoter regions of target genes, indicating a functional distinction among them during embryogenesis and development. Notably, MEF-2A is involved in differentiating mesodermal precursor cells into myoblasts, a process that has revealed various tissue-specific factors essential for muscle gene expression. Among these factors are the myogenic basic helix-loop-helix proteins, such as MyoD, myogenin, Myf-5, and MRF4, which, along with the MEF-2 family, bind to specific DNA sequences in regulatory regions of muscle-specific genes, thereby orchestrating complex gene expression patterns necessary for muscle development and function.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No the best option that you can buy.The antibody (new dilution) didn't work in re-used membrames. I just could use it with new membranes and new dilutions. I think other brands are more flexible with this points.
