Med4 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Med4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Med4 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Med4 protein, also known as mediator complex subunit 4, ARC36, DRIP36, or VDRIP, is a crucial 270 amino acid component of the mediator complex that plays a vital role in transcription regulation in mammalian cells. Located in the nucleus, Med4 interacts with other essential proteins such as Med8 and Med25 to form a scaffold that facilitates the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and general transcription factors.
