MDMX Antibody (D-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects MDMX in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MDMX plays a crucial role in regulating p53 protein stability, a key tumor suppressor involved in cell cycle control and apoptosis. By inhibiting MDM2-mediated degradation of p53, MDMX ensures p53 levels remain sufficient to respond to cellular stress and DNA damage, thereby preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation and tumorigenesis.
