MCM6 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MCM6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MCM6 (H-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) family of proteins, which includes MCM2, MCM3, MCM4, MCM5, MCM6, and MCM7, plays a crucial role in regulating DNA replication, ensuring that replication occurs only once during the cell cycle. MCM6 is essential for forming the MCM2-7 complex, which acts as a helicase during DNA unwinding, a critical step for DNA replication. Proper functioning of MCM6 maintains genomic stability, as any dysregulation can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation and contribute to oncogenesis.
