    MAGE-D4/MAGE-D4B Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAGE-D4/MAGE-D4B (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B are 741 amino acid proteins encoded by human genes MAGED4 and MAGED4B, respectively, and belong to the MAGE family, which directs the expression of tumor antigens recognized by autologous cytolytic T lymphocytes in human melanomas. MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B are specifically expressed in glioma cells among cancer cells, making these proteins glioma-specific members of the MAGE family. In normal tissues, MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B are primarily found in brain and ovary, highlighting a potential role in tumor biology. MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B undergo post-translational modifications that can influence function and interactions, which may be critical for tumor immunity and development of targeted therapies. While MAGE-D4 and MAGE-D4B are expressed at higher levels in malignant tumors compared to normal tissues, expression is not considered to have prognostic significance, making these proteins intriguing targets for further research in cancer immunotherapy.

    We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane.
