    SEE ALSO...

MAD2B Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAD2B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAD2B (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAD2B plays a crucial role in the mitotic checkpoint, which is essential for ensuring accurate chromosome segregation during cell division. Specifically, MAD2B monitors the attachment of kinetochores to spindle fibers; if this attachment is not properly established, MAD2B delays the onset of anaphase, preventing potential genomic instability. This function is vital as errors in chromosome segregation can lead to aneuploidy, a condition often associated with cancer. Additionally, MAD2B interacts with various proteins involved in cell cycle regulation, further underscoring MAD2B′s importance in maintaining cellular integrity during division. MAD2B′s ability to regulate the timing of anaphase onset highlights MAD2B′s significance in cancer biology, where dysregulation of the cell cycle can contribute to tumorigenesis.

Are there any issues with using sc-377367: MAD2B (F-12) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-377367 conjugates.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It dosen't work.I applied several free antibodies and tried them by IF. Here, I will review all of these antibodies. The antibodies of alpha-tubulin, beta-and gamma-tubulin are nice. But Mad2B, BUBR1, CENP-B and CREST are not good for IF. Although the volume of antibody SCP3 is only about 2-5 ul, but it is good for IF.
