    SEE ALSO...

LysRS Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LysRS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LysRS Antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LysRS protein, also known as lysyl-tRNA synthetase, catalyzes the attachment of lysine to its corresponding tRNA, enabling accurate translation of genetic code into functional proteins. This enzyme exists in both mitochondrial and cytoplasmic isoforms, with the mitochondrial form consisting of 625 amino acids and the cytoplasmic form comprising 576 amino acids. Proper functioning of LysRS is vital, as errors in aminoacylation can lead to nonfunctional or misfolded proteins, potentially contributing to autoimmune diseases like polymyositis and dermatomyositis. The gene encoding LysRS is located on human chromosome 16, a region harboring over 900 genes and accounting for nearly 3% of the human genome, highlighting LysRS significance in cellular function and disease mechanisms.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with LysRS (A-10): sc-271331?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
