SEE ALSO...

LYSMD1 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LYSMD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LYSMD1 Antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LYSMD1, also known as SB145, is a 227 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one LysM repeat and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms. LYSMD1 plays a crucial role in the immune response by potentially binding to peptidoglycans, which are essential components of bacterial cell walls, thereby facilitating the recognition and clearance of pathogens. The gene encoding LYSMD1 is located on human chromosome 1, a region associated with numerous diseases, including various cancers and genetic disorders. The significance of LYSMD1 in immune function highlights potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in infectious diseases and immune-related conditions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514030 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
