Lyl-1 Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Lyl-1 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Lyl-1 (F-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Lyl-1, also known as lymphoblastic leukemia-derived sequence 1, is a crucial nuclear protein that plays a significant role in regulating hematopoiesis and is implicated in T cell acute leukemia. Lyl-1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where Lyl-1 forms complexes with E2α proteins, facilitating heterodimeric complexes that exhibit unique DNA-binding properties essential for gene regulation in hematolymphoid cells. This nuclear localization allows Lyl-1 to directly influence transcriptional programs critical for normal lymphocyte development and function. Aberrations involving Lyl-1 are associated with chromosomal translocations that lead to T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), highlighting Lyl-1′s importance in both normal physiology and disease pathology.
